As multimedia franchises go, they don’t get much more beloved than Peanuts, Charles Schulz’s comic strip featuring Charlie Brown and his small band of friends/enemies/pets/siblings. Next year, a big-screen, computer animated movie based on the characters will come out, and the producers have whipped up an appropriately Christmas-themed trailer in advance of the release that’s almost a year away.
The Peanuts trailer is the first look we’ve gotten at the movie since a teaser several months back, and it again focuses on the antics of Snoopy and Woodstock. Charlie Brown himself makes an appearance though, and the overall feel of the trailer seems designed as a throwback to the equally beloved Peanuts holiday specials of the past.
You can watch the first official trailer for the Peanuts animated feature film below. The movie is set to hit theaters on November 6th, 2015, and you can check out its official website here.
