Hey, want to feel old? Believe it or not, the Patek Philippe Nautilus turns 40 this year, and to celebrate the people at Patek Philippe have come up with not just one but two different limited edition twists on the classic symbol of “casual elegance” in timepiece form.
The two new 40th anniversary Patek Philippe Nautilus watches are the 5711/1P, with a 40mm platinum case and in-house 24 S C movement, and the 5976/1G, with a 44mm white gold case and CH 28-520 C movement. They have a 45-hour and 55-hour power reserve, respectively, but other than that you might as well flip a coin to choose between them—or you could just buy both.
That would set you back a total of almost $213,000, though, since the 5711/1P carries a $113,400 price tag, while the 5976/1G costs $96,390. Maybe it would be a better, and cheaper, idea to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Patek Philippe Nautilus by watching the video below and checking out the official Patek Philippe press release on the occasion right here.
