Smartphone brands tend to be pretty sharply divided between the best and the rest, but one lesser known Chinese brand known as One is coming out with a rock solid piece of hardware that might take a little bit of spotlight away from Apple and Samsung.
It’s called the OnePlus One, and underneath the hood it’s got 2.5GHz Snapdragon processor that powers its CyanogenMod 11S Android operating system. Throw in its full HD 1080p display, stereo speakers, and much more, and you almost won’t be able to believe how cheap it’s going for.
It’s all housed inside a very slim 8.9mm shell, and the OnePlus One is priced starting at $300. You can get a lot more information on the OnePlus One from OnePlus’ website here. There, it’s billed as the “flagship killer,” and it will only be a matter of time before we know if that’s a legitimate claim or just boasting.
