One of the most important rock albums in the history of the form turns 20 this year. To celebrate, Radiohead is putting out a new deluxe 20th anniversary reissue of OK Computer, which will feature oodles of bonus content as well as a completely new remaster from the album’s original analog recorded elements.
Those bonus features include three previously unreleased songs, eight B-sides, and the super-spiffy ultra deluxe version will also come with three heavyweight 180 gram black vinyl records in its own hardcover book. Plus:
“a notebook containing 104 pages from Thom Yorke’s library of scrawled notes of the time, a sketchbook containing 48 pages of Donwood and Tchock’s ‘preparatory work’ and a C90 cassette mix tape compiled by us (Radiohead), taken from OK COMPUTER session archives and demo tapes.”
The 20th anniversary OK Computer will come out on June 23rd, on all the usual formats (plus a digital download of that cassette mix), starting at $17 and up. For more, head over to the project’s official site here.
