Deep in the desert in the United Arab Emirates, the location for what will perhaps be the most environmentally efficient luxury resort of all time has been selected by the Eco Resort Group. There, the Oasis Eco Resort from Baharash Architecture will be erected around a natural groundwater spring.
Now, the Oasis Eco Resort has been unveiled by Baharash, and it looks like a true destination-worthy resort for those lucky enough to be able to travel there. Made up of 84 interconnected suites, each room of the Oasis Eco will have a waterfront view of the spring it will be constructed around, among other perks. On-site wastewater management and recycling, 157,000 square feet of solar energy panels, an enforced “zero-emission zone,” and other features will make this a newer, environmentally healthier kind of resort than previously thought possible.
And that’s really just the tip of the, well, some desert equivalent of “iceberg,” when it comes to the Oasis Eco Resort. Reservations are scheduled to begin sometime in 2020, but in the meantime you can see a lot more that it will offer in the video below, and at Baharash’s site for the project right here.
