Eyewear brand Oakley is one of the heavy hitters on the block, and next year will mark the company’s 40th anniversary. As part of the buildup to what’s sure to be a promotional whirlwind, Oakley has released a short video that traces the history of the brand, with an assist from Kevin Spacey.
The video is titled A Story of Disruption, and in it Spacey spins the tale of Oakley founder Jim Jannard, who famously started the company out of his garage back in 1975. From there, the video touts Oakley’s history of “shattering the norm, setting creativity free, and forging a radical new vision of the world.” Also, they made a lot of sunglasses.
