Black History Month is almost here, and as per tradition Nike is celebrating/cashing in with a new collection of sneakers falling under the BHM umbrella. And now, the Nike Black History Month 2015 collection has been unveiled by the brand in advance of its release, scheduled for later this month.
The Nike Black History Month 2015 collection includes models like the Air Jordan 1, the Kobe 9, the Kyrie 1, and the SB Dunk, all in new bifurcated colorways of black and white (a statement of racial unity, perhaps?). Pioneering black athletes like Jerry Rice and Theotis Beasley are also honored by the collection, which includes sneakers, apparel, and accessories across several branches of the Nike brand.
You can take a look at the Nike Black History Month 2015 collection in the gallery below. It’s set to hit select Nike retailers on January 17th, but until then you can get a little bit more info from Nike’s press release here.
