I am a writer on the internet, which means I have to pay attention to any news involving classic 90s Nickelodeon programming, even if it’s just a vague proclamation from a Nick executive.

This vague proclamation came in an interview between Variety and president of content and development at Nickelodeon Russell Hicks, who made the tantalizing statement that “We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way.” It’s a savvy business move, since as Hicks points out the fans from Nick’s early days are now old enough to have Nick-viewing children of their own.

Unfortunately, Hicks didn’t go into specifics about what programs might be making comebacks (I’ll go ahead and take this opportunity to register my vote for a Secret World of Alex Mack reboot), but the Variety article does some pretty fine speculation on that point, so check it out here for more.
