In celebration of its 110th anniversary, luxury brand Montblanc is putting out the first pocket watch ever released by the brand. It’s the Montblanc 4810 Orbis Terrarum Pocket Watch, a new timepiece that’s far from being a traditional pocket watch.
The most novel feature of the Montblanc 4810 Orbis Terrarum Pocket Watch, which can be seen with no more than a glance, is its “world clock” design. A wide array of metropolitan centers are etched into the face of the watch, and once its set you can get the local time at a push of a button, as well as according adjustments for whichever time zone you happen to be curious about. It’ll probably take you a while to get the hang of it, but once you do you’ll be a human atomic clock.
Of course, you’ll have to wait a little bit for that, since release details on the Montblanc 4810 Orbis Terrarum Pocket Watch are still to come – but stay tuned to the official Montblanc site here for more info.
