The people at USAopoly (three guesses as to what they specialize in) have developed a new special edition of the classic Monopoly board game. It’s Monopoly: The Legend of Zelda, based on the, ah, legendary Nintendo video game series that’s been going strong since the mid-1980s.
Monopoly: The Legend of Zelda allows players to do something they could previously only dream of as they played the Nintendo video games: Buy and sell real estate. To do that, the game is equipped with a variety of totems that will be familiar to Zelda fans.
If you’re sick of the Reading Railroad and would prefer to ride the Spirit Train, Monopoly: The Legend of Zelda is available for pre-order at Gamestop here, where it’s priced at $39.99 and comes with a lot of in-game exclusives. And if you’d rather grab a copy of the game right off the shelf, it’s set to drop on September 15th.
