Smartwatches are huge right now, but there are still some pretty compelling and new reasons to go with a more old-fashioned analog style watch for your wearable timekeeping needs. One of those is the new Minus-8 Layer, a watch designed by Nike collaborators ASTRO Studios and available in two different colorways.
The Minus-8 Layer watch gets its name from the multiple layers of stainless steel in the watch’s construction, evident in its multi-tiered face. Additional touches include a transparent back through which the watch’s Japanese automatic movement can be seen in action, plus a date window and an NFC-enabled band made from silicon.
You can see both the black-and-red and the grey version of the Minus-8 Layer watch in the gallery underneath these words. And for more, as well as to order yours now for $448, check out the Layer’s listing on the Minus-8 online store right here.
