Software giant Microsoft has had the same logo for 25 years now, so someone at the top must have figured it was time for a change. Now, they have a new one, and it can be classified as safe, inoffensive and classy.
It’s not a huge shakeup by any stretch. In fact, you might have already forgotten what the old logo looked like once you look at the new one pictured above. It’s the first time in the company’s history that the logo has a symbol, rather than just the word “Microsoft.” That symbol is thought to be a subtle merger between the Microsoft Store logo and the logo for Windows 8. All in all, the new logo represents a look forward for Microsoft.
