Another dispatch from the weekend’s Shanghai Auto Show comes in the form of a new concept car from Mercedes-Benz. It’s the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Concept, a clear shot at SUV hybrid models like the BMW X4, and one that Mercedes-Benz says represents a “near production-standard study.”
As a result, the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Concept doesn’t have the blow-off-your-socks quality that more fantastical concept cars might have. But as a warm-up for a possible production model, it satisfies, with touches like a “distinct coupe heritage” rear, plenty of LED lights, and a vivid solar-beam coat of paint, as well as a 367 horsepower engine.
But the best way to take in the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Concept, or any concept car really, is through the eyeballs. And you can do just that by taking a look at a few photos of the car in the gallery below. For more from Mercedes-Benz, head to the company’s official site right here.
