On the occasion of its 20th anniversary, the Nike Free sole is working its way into sneakers where it usually isn’t found. Such as, for instance, the Nike Flyknit Chukka, which will be hitting Nike retailers soon in a new Nike Free version.
The Nike Free Flyknit Chukka will come in a Marled Black and Grey colorway, with an easy to miss Swoosh logo seen on the woven upper. It all rests on the aforementioned Nike Free 5.0 sole, making this sneaker a novel combination of two popular Nike joints.
As of now, the Marled Black/Grey Nike Free Flyknit Chukka will be a very limited release, dropping only to these two online retailers on April 25th: 21 Mercer and DOVER STREET MARKET New York. But a wider release is planned for later, so keep your eyes open if you’re interested in grabbing this sneaker, but aren’t going sneaker shopping in New York any time soon.
