Yesterday we told you about Maison Martin Margiela’s newly announced collaboration with global retail clothing company, H&M. Today the Paris-based fashion house announced their plans to release a vintage treatment sneaker in their Fall/Winter 2012 lineup.
This Muffa Vintage Treatment Sneaker is a part of the fashion house’s footwear collection. Each Italian-made shoe is rolled in a drum containing pumice stone, which roughens and “ages” the shoe’s leather without actually damaging it, giving it an old, vintage look.
Despite its looks, the leather used in the Muffa Vintage Treatment Sneaker is crafted from premium leather, featuring a padded ankle and tongue for comfort and support before being finished off with a white heel stitch.
A pair of Muffa Vintage Sneakers will set you back about $730 USD at oki-ni.
