Jay Z’s last studio album Magna Carta Holy Grail got mixed reviews from fans and critics when it came out in the summer of 2013, but now it’s being resurrected in a form that will tantalize music collectors – probably even some of the ones who weren’t a fan of the album the first time around.
That’s because Magna Carta Holy Grail is getting a deluxe limited edition vinyl reissue courtesy of Jack White’s Third Man Records. The set will include eight 7-inch 45s in a handsome binder (with special features like scratch-off boxes and mirrored pages for reverse text) designed by Brian Roettinger, who also designed the cover for the original album. But don’t start clearing space on your shelf yet, because this will only be available in a very limited edition of 1000 units.
Even if your chances of snagging one of 1000 deluxe Third Man Records Magna Carta Holy Grail vinyl box sets are pretty slim, you can watch a cool unboxing video of the set below. And for more information on the set’s upcoming March 20th release, head over to the Third Man Records site right here.
