Not to be confused with 2015’s 3D sex-filled drama of the same name by Gaspar Noe, Judd Apatow‘s Love is coming to Netflix next month. In advance of that release date, the show has gotten a short animated teaser that might give viewers a small taste of what to expect from the show.
Love will star Paul Rust as a typical Apatow protagonist – Sad, recently dumped, probably with some facial hair – and Gillian Jacobs as his love interest. As the official plot synopsis on YouTube puts it, “when a jaded Angeleno meets a nerdy guy, they may figure out this ‘love’ thing.” I hope so!
You can watch the teaser for Love below. And if it gets you pumped for ten episodes of hip, ironic romantic comedy, you only have to wait until February 19th, when all ten episodes of the show’s first season hit a Netflix account near you.
