We all know that LEGO is (are?) a wondrous toy, that can make anything in your imagination real. Or at least, “real” in the sense that stuff you make with LEGO are tangible objects, but not in the sense that they actually perform their intended function (it’s a good thing for all of us that LEGO laser guns do not actually fire lasers). But designer Hyarobi has broken with tradition and whipped up a LEGO record player that actually plays records.
The LEGO record player goes by the name “The Planet,” and is constructed entirely from LEGO products with the exception of the phono cartridge, which LEGO doesn’t really have an equivalent for – after all, who would ever make a LEGO record player? It’s powered by a LEGO Power Functions Battery Box and, I should reiterate, plays real records.
