LEGO artist Nathan Sawaya is preparing an exhibit entitled The Art of the Brick: DC Comics at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, Australia. The centerpiece of the exhibit will be the world’s largest LEGO Batmobile, nearly life-size and made from half a million individual LEGO building bricks.
The LEGO Batmobile is truly a sight to behold, with interesting touches like red accents (including in the windshield, which isn’t canonical but it looks cool) and a jet engine fire blast in the back. It’s more than 18 feet long, and it looks good enough to climb in and drive around Gotham City in.
