One of the cool things about living in 2016 is that you have plenty of different options for the Batcave of your imagination. Is it the one in the 1990s animated series? The Tim Burton Batcave, perhaps? Maybe the one in the Chris Nolan films? Those are all fine, but the best Batcave of them all is the one from the 1966 Batman TV show, and that’s the one lovingly recreated in the new LEGO Batcave playset.
The LEGO Batcave includes ’66 Batman and Robin, as well as the evil Joker (complete with painted-over mustache), Penguin, Riddler, and Catwoman. The iconic Batmobile is also present and accounted for, as are a few other vehicles from the show (and its big-screen adaptation, also from 1966).
Released to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the premiere of the show, the LEGO Batcave set can be checked out in greater detail at LEGO’s official site right here, where it’s listed with a March 1st, 2016 release date. Patience, Robin, is one of the most important virtues of life as a crimefighter.
