Fans of comedian Larry David and his HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm will probably greet this news with mixed emotions. The good news is that David is working on a new project, but the bad news is that it’s not a new season of Curb. Instead, America’s favorite avuncular bald Jew is going to Broadway.
The play is called Fish in the Dark, and in addition to writing it, David will also be starring as a character that (go figure) will be very similar to Larry David himself. In an interview with the New York Times, he goes so far as to say that “it might even be Larry David with a different name.”
Details on Fish in the Dark are scarce, but it is scheduled to open in March. You can read the aforementioned Times article on the project here.
