I don’t know what you did yesterday, but chances are it wasn’t as cool as helping to construct the world’s largest LEGO Millennium Falcon in honor of May the Fourth, otherwise known as Star Wars Day. Unless, of course, you happened upon the LEGO Star Wars display at the Westfield Southland mall in Melbourne, Australia, in which case you did exactly that.
The world’s largest LEGO Millennium Falcon measures five meters in width, which handily breaks the records set by all previously existing LEGO Millennium Falcons. That translates to a total of 250,000 LEGO bricks, with an additional 80,000 bricks going to build a couple 2-meter-tall TIE fighters to chase the Falcon through space.
