This Christmas, Jordan Brand will be letting go of a new retro release of the Air Jordan 5, in a colorway celebrating brand namesake Michael Jordan’s days at Emsley A. Laney High School in North Carolina.

Most of the upper is simple, clean white leather, with splashes of varsity maize and royal on the tongue and midsole. There’s also MJ’s legendary #23 emblazoned on the heel.

Information on pricing and availability are in short supply for the “Laney” Air Jordan 5 retro as of right now. All we know is that Jordan Brand is planning on a Christmas release for the shoe, and that there are some advance images, which you can see in the above gallery.
