It seems like every generation in Hollywood gets its very own King Arthur movie, and the latest is King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Since the current trend is all about spin-offs and crossovers, you may reasonably expect Merlin and Sir Lancelot to have their own movies at some point, but in the meantime we only have a new trailer to worry about.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword stars Jude Law, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen and Eric Bana alongside Pacific Rim‘s Charlie Hunnam as old Artie himself.
One thing that struck me about the trailer (which, at just 45 seconds long, maybe more of a teaser) is a shot that evidently uses GoPro-style head-mounted cameras. Seems a bit odd in medieval times, but then again I’ve never been much of a literalist on things like that.
In any case, you can see the trailer for King Arthur: Legend of the Sword below. The film comes to a theater near you on May 12, 2017, and you won’t even have to pull a sword from a stone in order to see it.
