Singer/actor Justin Timberlake must have caught a little of the dot-com bug while working on the movie The Social Network, as he since decided to make a substantial investment in the new, revamped MySpace social networking site. Now, there’s a new video featuring Timberlake, which unveils the new Myspace (found at New.Myspace.com). Some of the features hinted at in the video include:
– Users log in via Facebook or Twitter and are offered the option to bring photos or other information with them.
– Status updates look similar to the mobile app Path, with photos largely displayed and user comments showing up underneath.
– The music component includes ways to browse albums, find popular songs and artists, and more.
You can check out the video for yourself below. Who knows? Maybe MySpace is about to make a comeback. I wonder if that possibility has Mark Zuckerberg shaking in his boots.
