In a fitting development given the title of the movie, an “official global trailer” for the upcoming Jurassic Park sequel Jurassic World has hit the internet. And luckily for the franchise’s eager fans, it shows more dino-action and quasi-scientific foreboding than any previous advertising materials for the movie have.
The star of the official global trailer for Jurassic World isn’t really Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, or even Vincent D’Onofrio, but the genetically modified Indominus Rex cooked up special just for this movie. Shockingly, the dinosaur built to be as lethal and intimidating as possible ends up escaping and causes all kind of havoc for the park’s employees and guests. I know this is going to sound crazy, but maybe they should just stop trying to turn dinosaurs into theme park attractions? Just a thought.
You can watch the Jurassic World official global trailer for yourself below. The film is set to hit theaters (or, if you prefer, the park is set to reopen) on June 12th, but if you just can’t wait for more about this movie until then you can visit the official Jurassic World website right here.
