Jaguar is going all out in promoting the all-new, all-different Jaguar XF. That means hiring Hollywood stuntman Jim Dowdall to perform the “world’s longest high-wire water crossing by car.” More specifically, Dowdall attempted to take the car across 787 feet of the Thames river in London, on a high wire that was only two inches wide.
And wouldn’t you know it, he pulled it off. It’s an incredible stunt, and one that established a new record to boot – although it probably isn’t recommended that anyone else try anything like this, whether or not they’re behind the wheel of a new Jaguar XF.
You can watch Jim Dowdall drive the new Jaguar XF across a high wire suspended above the Thames in the video below (it’s 15 minutes long, so you might want to set aside a little bit of time before you do.) And for more on Jaguar’s new XF, check out the company’s official site right here.
