On the occasion of the new XF Sportbrake’s debut, legendary automotive brand Jaguar has teamed up with Ivan Erdevicki Naval Architecture & Yacht Design and Seventy Seven Design for a new speedboat concept.  Here’s Jaguar Director of Design Ian Callum’s take on the project:

“With the launch of the new Jaguar XF Sportbrake, we had an opportunity to create a vision of how our design philosophy might be applied to an alternative product, in which speed and beauty are also priorities.”

The 20-ft. long, 2+1 seat speedboat definitely succeeds in Callum’s stated goals. But unfortunately, this is going to stay a one-off for the time being, as Jaguar has no plans to go into the speedboat business.
