The recent launch of iOS 7 brought with it many new features to Apple products. One of the most notable is iTunes Radio, a music streaming service designed to compete with existing services like Spotify or Pandora.
The main idea behind iTunes Radio is the presence of personalized “stations” based on your iTunes library. iTunes can analyze what you have in your collection and how much you listen to what music, and generate streaming selections that (ideally) match your taste or whatever you’re in the mood for.
Like other music streaming services, iTunes Radio is available to all in a free, ad-supported version, with users having the option to pay for an ad-free upgrade. For more info, head to the iTunes Radio website here.
