Some new images of a device purporting to be the Apple iPhone 5 have been circulating around the internet today. Originally spotted on the Chinese TGBus forum, the purported images of the iPhone 5 were accompanied by text that suggested a production model was leaked out of the FoxConn factory and then photographed.
The phone is in all black, featuring what looks like a slightly larger display than the current iPhone 4 model. It also features a smaller headphone jack, and a smaller connector at the bottom—perhaps to make room for the bigger display.
Apple has yet to unveil the iPhone 5, which was a no-show at the recent WWDC, but we wouldn’t rule out a proper announcement later this year. As for the images, they’re either real or someone’s spent way too much time cobbling together a fake.
