If the last time you checked your Instagram feed you thought to yourself, “my God, this ad-free Utopia is too good to be true,” I’ve got some bad news for you.
Instagram recently made the announcement that they’re going to begin showing users advertisements over the next few months, similar to the way Facebook rolled out their advertising format. But users will be able to exert some control over what kind of ads they see, blocking out the ones they don’t like, and being able to provide feedback on what types of advertisements they like best.
