Infiniti is teaming up with Formula One star Sebastian Vettel for a new concept car they’re calling the “Sebastian Vettel Version.” And automotive fans, starting with the ones at its unveiling at the Frankfurt auto show in September, are already impressed by the car’s unique and audacious design.

Although the car looks pretty darn cool, this isn’t just a cosmetic makeover that the Infiniti FX is receiving. One of Vettel’s top requirements for his custom “Version” was a higher top speed, and the engineers at Infiniti have succeeded in accomidating the F1 driver, as the Vettel Version beats the standard Infiniti FX50’s 155 mile-per-hour top speed by 31 miles-per-hour!

Also exciting is the fact that the Vettel Version will likely be released to the street – albeit in a highly limited edition.  So keep your eyes and ears peeled.
