The Ramones are all dead and Blondie is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a collection from skate brand HUF. The collection, which includes apparel, footwear, and accessories, uses images of the band as its primary motif, for a visual effect that’s somewhat similar to a collage or scrapbook.
The motif of Blondie in their late 70s/early 80s heyday is spread across t-shirts, button-downs, Sutter Shoes, bucket hats, and five-panel caps, many of which are covered from top to bottom in the pictures. And the band’s lead singer Debbie Harry gets her share of the spotlight with a couple of shirts bearing her solo image.
If you like the look of the pieces in the preview photo up at the top (courtesy of Hypebeast) and feel like celebrating Blondie’s 40th anniversary in style, the HUF 40th anniversary Blondie collection for the fall of 2014 is available right now from HUF’s online store here.
