Another track from Pharrell Williams‘ G I R L has gotten an official music video, this one directed by Shaun of the Dead‘s Edgar Wright. The track is “Gust of Wind,” a collaborative effort between Pharrell and Daft Punk, who appear in the video in the form of giant floating stone versions of their famous helmets.
The “Gust of Wind” video takes place in an appropriately windy outdoor location, which is pretty rustic for most pop videos. There’s some impressive hand-clapping choreography, and the debut of a new, less ridiculous hat on Pharrell’s head. As for the song, it’s pretty good, especially if you like a lot of strings in your pop songs.
