The best playlists represent the curator’s individual point of view, for a sequence of songs that reflect a single sensibility, that couldn’t be replicated by anyone else. There’s something to be said for committee efforts too, though, and those are a lot easier to make with the new Group Playlists feature in the Spotify Chat Extension on Facebook Messenger.
Users of the Group Playlists feature can curate playlists in groups of two or more. Listening to these playlists will require a Spotify membership, but non-members will be able to listen to previews of included tracks, and everybody in the group chat in question will be able to add their own songs.
The Group Playlists for Messenger feature is available now, as long as you have both Messenger and Spotify Chat, so take a look now and see if you can get started on the next playlist masterpiece. For more info, read up on the new feature at Spotify’s press release right here.
