M. Night Shyamalan’s 2000 film Unbreakable was pretty ahead of its time, since it was a clear precursor to our current slate of superhero movie saturation. When the filmmaker churned out Split a couple years ago, it turned out to be a secret Unbreakable follow-up, with the earlier film’s protagonist David Dunn making a late-film cameo appearance. Now, both movies are getting a proper sequel with a film centered on Dunn’s archnemesis Mr. Glass, and Shyamalan took to Twitter to share the film’s poster:

July 20th is evidently when the first trailer for Glass hits the internet, but sue me, I’m only human. The poster shows our triangle in both their regular human and super forms reflected in the shiny floor below, which is a pretty fun and memorable image, particularly by the standards of today’s boring movie posters.
Anyway, stay tuned for more on Glass at Shyamalan’s Twitter account right here.
