Upscale fashion label Givenchy has just unveiled its advertising campaign for the spring of 2013. The campaign will be made up of ads designed to show how Givenchy styles are for real, everyday people – and thus, the models appear in realistic hair styles and makeup. Here’s Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci on this advertising choice:
“They are people I love and who love me. It’s about family — something that is difficult to find in today’s world. It’s about real people, only taking the best of their personalities, with no effort.”
The menswear ads will premiere first at the beginning of January in L’Uomo Vogue magazine, while the women’s advertisements will be unveiled at the end of that same month in Paris Vogue.
