The Taco Bell breakfast menu created a lot of excitement when it was first announced a while back, and the Taco Bell people seem to be interested in keeping it fresh with new, weird stuff. Stuff like, for example, the French Toast Chalupa, now being tested out in the wilds of Dayton, Ohio. Per Thrillist:
“The breakfast item contains a french toast chalupa shell with a hint of cinnamon, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage crumbles, and a side of syrup. It’s basically the naked egg taco with a french toast twist.”
A side of syrup at Taco Bell, now I’ve seen everything! I’m also getting hungry, so I’ll wrap this up quickly and let you know that the French Toast Chalupa is only one of several limited edition food items being tested throughout the land, like the Queso Quesarito in Birmingham, the Crispy Chicken Taco in Oklahoma City, and the Beefy Crunch Burrito in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
