New from Converse comes a boot that should satisfy all but the most difficult-to-please fans of the brand’s iconic Chuck Taylor line. It’s the First String Chuck Taylor All Star “Made in Maine,” and it’s coming to select retailers on November 30th.
As the “Made in Maine” name suggests, these boots were made in conjunction with the Highland Boot Company of Brewer, Maine. One interesting feature of the “Made in Maine” is the leather board construction that lets wearers re-sole the boot as needed. A pair of these New England classics will cost you about $350, if you’re lucky enough to be near a Converse retailer in NYC or Boston when they are released tomorrow.
