If you saw Minority Report, and if you’ve ever used a piece of “gesture-based” technology in the last few years, you know that we still have a ways to go in making that technology as easy and intuitive as it was in the movie. But if Fin makes it into production, we’ll be one step closer to the future.
The makers of Fin claim that this is the next step in gesture control technology. Basically, any smart device capable of Bluetooth connection can work with Fin, which works by wearing it on your thumb and moving it in relation to your other fingers. It might sound strange, but imagine how weird an iPhone would have seemed to you 15 years ago.
