Boy magician Harold Potter’s grandfather Dumbledore is coming back to movie screens, this time as a young(er) man played by Jude Law, in the upcoming sequel Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which also features Johnny Depp stretching his acting chops by playing the unrepentant fiend Gellert Grindelwald.
Now, we have an official teaser trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and there’s also a plot synopsis which I will reproduce below, an action which should in no way be taken as a reflection of my total ignorance about the Harry Potter mythos:
“In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.”
Anyway, you can check out the new official teaser trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Crimes of Grindelwald below. The film comes out on November 16th, and in the meantime you can hit up its official site right here.
