Yesterday, we told you about a new supercut that cut together all of this year’s Best Picture nominees at the Oscars. But if you’re not going to the movies to see overpaid actors pretending to cry and/or get mauled by a bear, it might not have done much for you. Luckily, the people at Burger Fiction have released Every Best Visual Effects Winner. Ever., for some real movie magic.
The action starts with the still-impressive aerial action from Wings and into the mid-40s, when the Academy started doling out special effects Oscars on the regular (King Kong, you was robbed!). Then it transitions into stuff you might actually recognize, with robots, dinosaurs, impossible technology, and all the stuff that movies do better than anything else.
