One trend that you can expect to see a lot more of in the coming years is “augmented reality,” which is the concept of enhancing your minute-to-minute visual perception with data and graphical overlays, most famously represented by Google Glass. But Google isn’t the only augmented reality brand in town, as the new Epson Moverio BT-200 demonstrates.
The Epson Moverio BT-200 is equipped with a touchscreen Android controller, front-mounted camera, motion sensors, transparent displays, and other gadgets designed to augment your reality. But Epson is weirdly silent about what the glasses can actually do, other than enabling “you to develop or utilize truly innovative applications.” That’s the price of being an early adopter, I guess.
