Imagine, if you will, that you live in some futuristic utopia wherein you can call to nose any scent you might feel like smelling, as easily as you can play a song you feel like hearing in today’s music streaming universe. Cyrano is a “scent speaker” that purports to bring us pretty darn close to that reality.
Named for Cyrano de Bergerac of the famously pronounced proboscis, Cyrano works through synchronization via the oNotes app, which allows user to select from myriad scents that are then “played” through the speaker, loaded with the cartridges necessary to create them (each speaker comes with a mood starter pack so you can start weaving olfactory moods right away).
