The next generation of clocks might look like something from another planet to the people who used to design grandfather clocks and other similar timepieces years ago, but good work is still being done in the field. The latest example is ClockONE, a high-tech clock that takes obvious inspiration from digital clocks of a prvious era.
ClockONE earns its name thanks to the preponderance of 1’s in its feature rundown: It runs on a single battery for an average of one year, it features one-touch controls, and it can switch to a 24-hour clock with one touch of a button. It also uses E-ink its display for a high contrast visual and wide angle of viewing.
