New from Chrysler comes the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, the automaker’s replacement for the departed Jeep Liberty for next year. Of course, Chrysler had intended for the Cherokee to be a secret in advance of its unveiling at the New York Auto Show late next month. But some photos of the car taken at a Chrysler plant were leaked, which provoked Chrysler to make an official statement.
That statement included the name of the car, four official photos (which you can see in the above gallery), and not much else.
So it looks like we’ll have to wait for more official details, including how much the 2014 Jeep Cherokee will cost. But the car is slated to begin production in May, so information should arrive before that time – probably during the car’s originally intended unveiling in New York.
