Car company Mini is launching a new line of Mini Cooper hatchbacks in China in commemoration of the impending 2012 Olympic Games in London.
The China Olympic Special Edition cars are based on the most recent Mini Cooper and carry a 120hp 1.6 liter engine. They’re colored in green and sport gold stripes on the roof to resemble an athletics track. All in all, a very classy design that’s sure to please anyone whether or not you’re a fan of the Olympics.
The Mini Cooper China Olympic Special Edition vehicles are set to go on sale exclusively in China starting this July. They’ve yet to announce the car’s price, but it shouldn’t be too different from the previously announced London 2012 models they made for the UK.
