Carvana is a website for buying a used car online as quickly and painlessly as possible, with delivery to the customer’s door and a seven-day money back guarantee among its features. But in Nashville they’ve opened the Carvana Car Vending Machine, which makes the experience of purchasing an automobile as simple as buying a Snickers bar.
The Carvana Vending Machine is a glorious five-story tower of cars, which you access by inserting a giant coin (that you presumably pay money for in advance) into the coin bay and selecting your car via touchscreen. The car then makes it down the tower and out the door in a fully autonomous robotic process, at which point it becomes yours.
I don’t know how practical buying a car with the Carvana Vending Machine really is. But even if it loses money for the company, it’s great publicity for their brand, and fun just to watch in action—as you can see in the video below. For more, head over to the official Carvana site right here.
