Visitors to Hillsborough, California are often struck by the weird-looking house visible from the Eugene A. Doran Memorial Bridge on I-280. The strange structure is often referred to as the “Flintstone House,” and now it’s going up for sale for $4.2 million.
Originally constructed as a way to test out unconventional building materials, and so named for its resemblance to the surreal faux-stone-age architecture seen in the Hanna-Barbera series The Flintstones, the “Flintstone House” is now making the rounds courtesy of California realtor Judy Meuschke, who listed the house on Facebook earlier this week.
The “Flintstone House” is supposed to have an official website devoted to its sale soon, but for now you can check out the post on Facebook right here.
