Sometimes it can be worthwhile to take a look at what our corporate fast food overlords are up to in other regions of the world, so as to better prepare ourselves for what may be coming to North American shores. Unless you’re reading this from Spain, that’s what this report on the Burger King Doritos Steakhouse burger amounts to, although how you can possibly prepare for such a thing is unknown to me.
The Burger King Doritos Steakhouse burger essentially amounts to a Burger King cheeseburger with some Nacho Cheese Doritos crammed in between the bacon and the lettuce & tomato. I’ve never been a chips-on-sandwiches guy, but I know a lot of people swear by it, and I suppose something like this would be the next logical step.
Anyway, the Burger King Doritos Steakhouse burger is currently being tested in BK’s Spanish market, and if it does well you may expect to see it with a catchier name in other parts of the world. For now, you can read up on the burger here, and if you really can’t wait to try it for yourself a quick trip to Burger King and then the store to get some Doritos shouldn’t be too difficult.
